NOTE: The instructions given below assume you will acquire a new car body to be used in conjunction with a R/C Neon LED lighting kit. If you wish to use your existing car body, you will need to customize it to some degree.

STEP 1: Mask off the headlights and tail lights from the inside the car body. (Note that your new car body should include a sticker sheet that you can use for masking materials.)

STEP 2: After you paint the body and allow at least 12 hours for it to dry completely, then carefully remove the masked sections from inside the body.

STEP 3: Locate the head & tail light graphics on your sticker sheet. Using an X-acto knife, cut out sections in the graphics for the LEDs to shine though, then affix the stickers to the car body.

STEP 4: Using the double-sided tape that included with your R/C Neon Kit, affix the head/fog lights to the appropriate locations. Gently bend the LED leads as needed. CAUTION! Excessive bending may break the leads!

STEP 5: Repeat Step-4 for the brake lights.

STEP 6: Put the body on your car's chassis to check clearance for components. Using the remaining double-sided tape in your R/C Neon Kit, affix the Power Supply Unit and battery in an appropriate location.
